Terms & Conditions

Please ensure to completely read this section before asking any questions and booking.

General Guidelines

  • All inquiries and transactions are to be done primarily through Facebook Messenger, and via email as alternative.

​

  • Listed rates and services are only for locations within south Metro Manila (Las Pinas, Paranaque, Muntinlupa) and Cavite.  For locations not listed, additional fees may be added to cover travel costs.

​

  • Payment terms will be as follows:  50% downpayment via online transaction (GCash, BPI) within 24 hours after confirmation to secure your booking, and the remaining 50% to be paid prior output delivery.​

​

  • Except for cosplay photography commissions for cosplay conventions, the actual photoshoot location will be decided by the client.  The client will also be responsible for securing all requirements to conduct the photoshoot in the decided location before the booking date, including any rental / entry fees.  If we are prohibited from shooting at the decided location, the shoot will be cancelled, and downpayment will not be refunded.  I strictly do not do "ninja shoots" and shooting at places with undetermined availability!​​​

  • For Cosplay photoshoot commissions, I do not accommodate R-18, hentai, and sexually explicit series and themes in general.​

​

  • Minors (aged 17 and below) are strictly not allowed to avail of any of the services on offer.  Failure to comply with this and upon my discovery of such will result to rejection or cancellation of the booking, and no payment refunds will be issued.

Photoshoot Guidelines

Cosplay Photography commissions

  • If the models to be photographed are late for more than one hour from the scheduled time of start and without any updates on whereabouts and circumstances etc., the shoot may be cancelled with no down payment refunds.  Please see the Cancellations and Refunds section for more info.

  • You are free to bring along non-model companions on the shoot.

​

  • Models are free to switch outfits during the shoot should they wish, but no duration extensions will be accommodated to make up for the time spent changing outfits.

​

  • Throughout the photoshoot session, photo previews will be given, and models are encouraged to give their preferences on what shots will be selected for final editing, and transparent feedback on the output being shown.

Events & Documentation commissions

  • Client is highly encouraged to give preferences or specific objectives as to what images should be prioritized.

​

  • Client is responsible for providing all necessary permits, tickets, invitations, or other similar accesses needed for the photographer to carry out photo coverage.

​

  • Depending on the event and circumstances in question, the stated maximum 4 hours shooting time may be adjusted as would be deemed necessary, e.g. sudden changes in event program, etc..  Client is responsible for relaying such changes ASAP.

Product commissions

  • Client is highly encouraged to give preferences or specific objectives as to what images, details, and looks should be prioritized.  This includes intent of usage, e.g. if to be used for product catalogue, so setup adjustments can be done.

  • Client should relay physical handling arrangements and risks of product subjects in question, and if photographer will be allowed to move the subject, especially for fragile and sensitive objects.  I will not be held liable for accidental damage to objects being photographed as a result of mishandling that was not communicated clearly, within reason.

Output Delivery

  • It will be my prerogative to choose what final photos to edit, with consideration for client-preferred and selected images as shown in previews during the shoot.  For cosplay commissions, updates on editing progress will be provided every week.

  • On completion of the final edits, client will receive a preview via Messenger confirming the photos as ready for release.  Upon confirmation of successful payment, a Dropbox link with the final edited photos, and all other photos (which format will depend on commission type) will be shared to the client to download.

​

  • Only when the full balance has been settled will the final photos be released to the client.

​

  • The Dropbox link will remain open for access to the client for 30 days from release, after which access privileges will be terminated.

Usage Rights and Commercial Use

  • Client and will have the following rights for all photos from the commission:

    • Posting on SNS and other sites​

    • Commercial use e.g. prints sale, subscription-based membership community platforms e.g. Patreon, Ko-Fi, etc.

    • Further editing beyond what has been completed

​

  • I currently do not impose any additional mark-up on rates for commercial usage of photos.

​

  • F/Primus reserves the right to release photos from commissioned works for portfolio showcase purposes.

On collaborations with other creatives

  • "Collaboration" in this context means I will be working and communicating directly with other creatives resulting to output from coordinated efforts.

​

  • For sessions where the client is involving other creatives (other photographers, videographers, directors, stylists, etc.) during the booked schedule, it is the client's responsibility to inform F/Primus in advance of the intended workflow of the session so we can plan out allocation of my time with you, any specific expectations with regards to output, and if I am to directly work with the other creatives for collaborative output (and also to avoid any duplicate looks, etc.).

  • Failure to inform me in advance risks me not being able to deliver the output I intend within the time you booked me for due to a disorderly workflow with everyone else involved.

​

  • Indicated rates may change for bookings with direct collaborations involved and depending on intent.  Please send a message to my Facebook page for more information.

 

  • Sharing of my equipment with other creatives involved in the session will be up to my discretion.​

Booking Changes

  • Change in schedule and/or location after securing the booking slot will be allowed five (5) days before the original schedule.  You must inform me ASAP via Facebook Messenger for such changes to facilitate the changes to be made.

​

  • Schedule and/or location changes that are communicated less than 5 days before the original schedule will be rejected, and downpayment refunds will not be issued if the photoshoot is to be cancelled.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • The client may request for cancellation of a booked photoshoot at most 1 week before the scheduled session for whatever reason, with downpayment fully refundable.  If the cancellation request is made less than 1 week before the shoot, downpayment will not be refunded.

  • In the case of a fortuitous event or an emergency situation on either party's side that will necessitate the cancellation of, or sudden change in the schedule of the shoot, it will be the responsibility of either party to inform the other of such ASAP.  Depending on the nature of circumstances within reason, the shoot may either be cancelled with full / partial refund or rescheduled to another date.
